I'M 22 AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO

TWENTY TWO - MILLENCOLIN

I'm one year older now since last time I saw you
in case you wanna know, I'm about to say what I'm up to
first of all I'm a sluggard movin' slow in a clumsy way
some peace of mind is what I want, but that will be the day

I've been going with the flow for too long now, this must end
running 'round in circles, I've been so far away from myself
searching for the energy and the time to make a change, to make a change in my life
instead of watching it pass by, get something done while I'm alive.

CHORUS:
I'm twenty two, don't know what I'm supposed to do
or how to be, to get some more out of me.
I'm twenty two, so far away from all my dreams
I'm twenty two, twenty two, feeling blue.

I try to activate myself the best I can
so that boredom won't catch up with me, I've got my daily plan
wake up late, then rehearse a bit with the band, I guess it's cool?
Later when I'm home again I boil a note or two
then I go to bed that's what I do.

CHORUS

Afraid that I will be weak forever
I can't stay in this shape any longer
my life's just another cliche.

I've been going with the flow for too long now, this must end
running 'round in circles, I've been so far away from myself
I try to activate myself the best I can
so that boredom won't catch up with me, I've got my daily plan

CHORUS

IKOAFS the Movie

While I was reading my borrowed e-book copy (from the library) of Kurt Vonnegut's Sirens of the Titan, my attention was caught by the television. Emma Roberts made a guest appearance in The Jay Leno Show. She was talking about her new blond hairstyle and I heard her mention "It's Kind Of A Funny Story" being made into a movie.

So the first thing I did is to check out Ned Vizzini's blog, which has been on my Blogroll ever since (but because I rarely update this blog, I never had the chance to check it out for quite a long time).

And I found out that, indeed, the book, has been adapted into a movie and will be released later this year.

I checked the details on imdb through Google and learned that it will come out on November.

For more information, check out Ned Vizzini's Movie Blog

***

It's been two and a half years since I read Craig's story and The Cycling. Since this is another book-to-film adaptation, I don't want to expect anything. I'm not even sure if I am able to and would want to watch.

No matter what
I am a loyal fan of the book
Will always be

BRAND NEW MOON

I got this from Facebook. Even before I watched the first movie, Twilight, and saw the cast, I knew that there's a chemistry between these two.

Maybe instead of copying the story of the novel, the director should have been more creative in making a movie out of a tragic love story. You know, something like Romeo and Juliet.

Everybody knows the myth about vampires and werewolves as mortal enemies. Why not let them fall for each other? That's tragic! And that's what's gonna buy.

O.M.G. it's so disgusting it's funny!

FAREWELL, 'TIL YOU KNOW ME WELL

A French band, Phoenix, is my new favorite band. Lisztomania, Consolation Prizes, Love for Granted, and Summer Days are my top picks. Last but not the least, Gilfriend.

Tired out, not a miracle in days
Deciders for the lonely
Whispering tears
You try out for nothing then you drop dead
Not a miracle in years
Leisure for the lonely
Whispering unecessary unless you’re in

Die and succeed
I say it out loud but you just don’t care
Farewell, til you know me well
Farewell, til you know me well
Girlfriend

We are far from home, I am with you now
I am longing you, I am longing us two
Who bought a miracle sells these fortune tears
December’s death or glory how you want it ?
No, not a miracle in years
Deciders for the lonely wishing death wishes death unless

Die and succeed
I say it out loud but she just don’t care
Farewell, til you know me well
Farewell, til you know me well
Girlfriend

Die and succeed
I say it out loud but she just don’t care
Girlfriend
