Man, what's wrong with people? Why are they all mad?
There's this girl I used to know who's a true blue fan of one mainstream band. She bought two copies of their album. Gave the 1st one to her friend, who shares the same extreme passion for the band, as a birthday present. Then bought another one for herself.
There's this lady I used to know who's totally obsessed with one mainstream band. She followed the gigs of the band whenever possible, often coming home late at night. Her clothes were always soaked in sweat. Her hair smelled with tar. Yet she didn't bother. After all, she had enjoyed the band's performance and the feeling was ecstacy. One day, she failed to watch them. For the very first time, she had not gone to watch the band's gig all because she's not a drinker. On the entrance, she was asked to take a sip but she had refused. She said she'll never gonna do that. She was left without a choice. She ran out of the place. The rain began pouring down heavily, soaking her...
What's happening in the music industry?
Most bands are heading for the mainstream. What's with the mainstream, anyway? Is it like performing in afternoon entertainment shows to get the crowd fall for them - yes, THEM and not with their music?
They get to be regular and soon enough they'll be getting a platinum for a hundred-thousand copies of the album sold?
And then they'll gonna earn some very big bucks and then, they'll be very busy with their schedule of performances and tours throughout the country and every girl in town screams for their name maddened by their desire for the hot vocalist or the mysterious-looking guy on bass whatever...
Once there was a band who made a front-act for another and more popular band. Four months after, they came out to the mainstream. Now they've got loads of money. Now they've got a lot more fans and they never had a rest going out of town.
Once there was a girl who knew nothing about bands but the front act dazzled her and she initiated their meeting.
Once there was a lady who went gaga over the vocalist. She kept drooling at the sight of him --- in magazines and on TV.
Tell me
Why do you have to go
And make me feel like constipated
This is a true story between HALE and I.
