Last night, I managed to finish a short story from Nick Hornby's Speaking With The Angel. It's entitled, "Slave". I forgot who the author was. Anyway, I'm not familiar with him. The protagonist is called a "Guy". He's a mime artist. He's got two friends, both working on the corporeal world. He got himself a wife, and later on, two kids. Then they went short of money. His wife wanted him to work. He really loved being a mime artist. In the end, he worked for one of his friends, but he didn't give up his dream completely.
It made me feel nostalgic. He reminded me of my favorite author, and of myself and of my concept of dream, and of the world, and of life and of everything!
I fell asleep clouded with those thoughts.
