"Why does it always rain on me? Is it because I died when I was seventeen..."
It's been raining since yesterday afternoon.
I don't like the rain. I hate getting wet and my shoes getting soaked in mud. It's a curse, a sign of bad luck, an omen.
I screwed on my game this afternoon. I barely passed with 72 points. I still couldn't reach my 100+ target score. 'Tis distressing. I want to throw the ball on someone else's face. Actually, to my reflection in the mirror. For being so stupid. For being a loser.
I did not pass the second long exam as expected, but with just two freaking points! I should have just intentionally flunk the exam if I had guessed that it would just turn out this way. Oh well, what the hell. Either way, I FAILED and that means...
- NO Spiderman 3 movie (and Pirates of the Carribean 3 and Shrek 3)
- NO ice skating lessons (and/or guitar lessons)
- NO library (esp. Filipiniana & LibSci's home reading books)
- NO backpack
- NO rollercoaster
- NO summer getaway (e.g. beach)
- NO electric fan
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I went back to BOBO.
MacArthur is really something. I read it in the most unexpected place at the most unexpected time.
May 1. I swallowed my words (see May 1 post) and killed two birds with a pebble. I had my first ice skating experience and got Bob Ong's pre-launched 6th book afterwards.
By 6 PM I was stuffing my mouth with fries dipped in hot fudge sundae while turning the pages with speed at McDonald's. I couldn't keep myself from laughing outloud. Bob Ong really has his way of getting into my funnybone (geez what am I saying?). I could really (and literally) shit out laughing on that part where the characters are talking about shit on the potty and how it comes out again after flushing in vain. My mind went wild trying to find the analogy between the shit that keeps coming out again and the title of the book, MacArthur, which is actually a real name of a soldier back in WWII renowned for his words, "I shall return."
Only through/with Bob Ong's wit can that MacArthur-shit analogy be learned. SUGOI!

Why the title?
I am supposed to be mad.

I still couldn't get over with Matsumoto Jun & Tomohisa Yamashita. I'm having zits all over my face for musing too much... and way too far, as trying to concentrate on Yamapi-kun's voice in Seishun Amigo (duet with Kazuya Kamenashi). He's got this anime-ish voice--- flirty and gay-ish in a nice way. Yatta!
I can't wait for Eclipse and surrender my heart & soul to Edward Cullen. Then again, it would still be three months due.
